I became a “Personal Poet”, bespoking poems on request, late in 2014. My happy accident started as I composed little poems for my own “60 second pitch” whilst networking about another business, and a couple of people at this particular group told me that they thought I had a talent, urging me to do something with it!

Well, I was taken aback, but I decided to see if others thought I had a talent too. So, here we are over six years on with several commissions under my belt, three illustrated books of general poems, MP3 downloads, CDs and I get out and about giving poetry talks.

I am inspired by all sorts of things. When people smile or laugh at my poems I get pleasure. I hope you like my take on life’s situations, creatures and human behaviour.
